Believe it or not, last Friday was officially the last day of summer in the UK, and to celebrate the annual occasion of tidying away the sunglasses and shorts in favour of an umbrella and a much needed pair of wellies, Label PR joined forces with new menswear client Tokyo Laundry to treat fashion press to a farewell beer and burger!
To toast one final afternoon in the sun, key men’s magazines along with national newspapers including Attitude, GQ, Esquire, The Times and The Telegraph, were all hand delivered individual parcels containing delicious Randall & Aubin burgers complete with condiments, on-brand Japanese beers, and cards declaring ‘goodbye summer, hello winter (knits)!’ to encourage them to tweet their treats.
Press quickly jumped on board tweeting @TokyoLaundry68 to thank the brand and post pictures of their treats. One journalist even commented that he was popular for the first time after dishing out the goods to the team!
We can’t think of a better way to see out the summer!
