Last week Label PR spent the day with TV style guru Gok Wan as he launched his new lingerie line to press.
Fashion journalists from all the top titles turned out in their droves to chat to the fashion favourite as he gave interviews and talked through his collection for Label PR’s newest client Simply Be.
The collection, aimed at curvy women, showcases fabulous 50s shapes and prints, channeling old Hollywood starlet-style glamour and promising functional control underwear and shapewear that still looks flirty and feminine.
Pieces from the range that went down particularly well with the fashion press included the polka dot Midnight Body Booster and bra and briefs, as well as Gok’s personal favourite from the collection – the Liquorice bra, briefs and slip set.
The event took place in the stunning Terrace Suite of London’s exclusive Soho Hotel, where guests enjoyed vintage-style manicures courtesy of Nail Rock, delicious canapés and a glass of champagne in the sunshine on the wraparound balcony.
Journalists also went home with gorgeous goody bags that included fabulous Simply Be vouchers as well as products from Fake Bake, Batiste, Vichy, Skin Health Spa and Harbourside Handbags.
